It's like an early 19th century mansion on the outside so what I think is really funny is the idea that she just had it renovated on the inside with no thoughts given as to how any of the systems of her house like heat-exchange or humidity control work or worked and now it's just moldy.

It's such a common thing with renovated old houses that they get moldy because you put in all the fancy new-schmangled insulation and such but they were built to standards of the day, i.e. leaking air like fuck. And with that amount of money it'd be so ridicolously easy to get someone who knows what they're doing to do it, but instead she opted for the McMansion-Conversion

16th century so has gone through a few renovations, as a historic building there are some pictures of renovations, blueprints, and archeological surveys publically available
