I think you might be the one projecting. I meant no tone that you are inferring. I think both men and women collectively need to communicate more effectively, and everyone needs to stop speaking broadly about large demographics being represented by loud flashy minorities.

I don't even grant the premise that either sex is as the other is claiming to be, only a small fraction are and that's all that's being interacted with.

No men or women in my entire life fits any of these narratives, but the narratives are all you hear about. They pervade social media just like bad news does in our 24/7 doom scroll world. The majority of people are just decent. But we pretend that every woman is a 304 and every guy is a rapist.
