Moving from Texas to Washington state, I was really shocked how they viewed people who grew up poor in red states. Didn't matter the political affiliation.

Then they go and bitch about the homeless coming in, or God forbid you made it and landed a good job, then it's your fault for raising prices.

The JD Vance room with the wood panels really sold what they think of the rural poor.

Couch joke was the only saving grace.

“I’m not traffic, I’m stuck in traffic” but for housing. They expect to be able to buy a house and see the value increase year over year at a good clip, but then get salty when that happens for other people.
