So I went to a helpdesk at Melbourne Central, they said it's always been a child card. Have been occasionally tapping on and feeling safe but I woulda got fucked anyway.i bought it from Flinders st station 5 months ago
It’s really annoying that the full fare/ concession cards are no longer differentiated. I’ve now labelled ours so as not to accidentally use my kid’s card and get fined
i believe that is intentional
My wife's colleague got done for $300 for this reason a few weeks ago.
