talked to a couple who has one of the first year Teslas, the battery has lost a good portion of its range capacity and they are worried they won't be able to resell it for much
This is going to be a problem with all electric vehicles, which makes it that much worse that we refuse to make anything affordable and we’ve essentially banned China from selling theirs here.
I love the hot-swap design where the batteries are modular and replaceable. "charging" is swapping your battery for a fully charged one. I read somewhere that some cities in China have been using this for transit buses
They have it for EVs as well
I've heard it's widespread for scooters and ebikes as well

There was that one bazinga brain who sold a bunch of his stuff and bought a cybertruck for that reason, then had all the problems cybertrucks have had. Still loves the truck though.
