I think it's because there's another layer. You can have loyalty to two countries (e.g. dual citizens), but nationalists clearly don't like that and see it as traitorous and deceitful.
It's applying a neutral thing to someone (on the basis of their ethnicity even if/though it's not true) then saying that thing is bad, actually.
"They're Jewish so they must also have loyalty to Israel which actually means they only have loyalty to Israel."
