Years ago I did a huge trip from Melbourne to the tip top of Cape York, I'd add the 5k to my savings and do the whole trip over again. This time I'd stay longer in Cooktown, a town which I fell in love with on my trip.
That's pretty cool.
Easily best month of my life! I've done a few remote trips but the top of Cape York was easily my favourite.
A friend of mine now manages the Cooktown Botanic Gardens. Best decision he's ever made.
