Pic related is mine. Such a solid movie. From being a critique of consumerism to racism, to an action movie, to comedy at some points. And while it might not be scary in the traditional sense, the opening scenes detailing the chaos around a news station trying to remain calm during the end of the world are done pretty well and set the mood for surviving the apocalypse.

Fun fact, in Dawn of the Dead there's a song they play when Kevin Foree and Scott Reiniger are parking the box trucks in front of the mall doors that gets sampled for the gorillaz "intro" track on Demon Days. (There's alot of classic spooky movie references on that album but I rarely see this one brought up.)

I think Event Horizon is probably my favorite spooky movie, even though it's not really a "Halloween/removedober" movie.
