Who cares .... at this point the US is basically just one never ending election cycle. As soon as one ends they start campaigning as if the next is going to happen next month when it's four years away. They never seem to care what government does after it's elected and treat elections like some kind of sporting event where they cheer for their team to win the championship and some magical democracy trophy.
US elections happen every 2 years. Non-Presidential elections aren't as sexy, but all 435 House seats are up for election every 2 years. Around 1/3rd of Senate seats as well as they have a 6 year term.
