Oh yeah it hasn't been added to the constitution yet despite it being a thing proposed in the 1970's. There's a chance our next president here is going to undo one of the meager concessions obtained by the civil rights movement and spit on it's legacy

Edit: Pls join protests and stuff, there was a march last week to try and pressure him into getting it included in the constitution but it's been basically erased from media

The accelerationist in me disagrees, because it's long past time to stop legitimizing a constitution that expressly permits slavery and weights some people's voices more than others

What in the palor are you fucking talking about? Are you ok?

I'm sorry. That comment was very poorly worded of me, and I have deleted it. After rereading it, it's appalling to me that it got any upbears.

To be clear, I do agree is no excuse for Biden not having even feigned an attempt to get the ERA certified. I vehemently believe that everyone deserves equal rights, and in a just world, it would have already been in the document in the first place.

The accelerationist position I was very badly attempting to state was basically along the lines that while Trump's policies are objectively bad both at home for Americans and abroad for everyone else, especially for marginalized groups, they might possibly hasten the demise of the US.

Death to America is my actual take — accelerationism is not. Honestly, I don't think I really had a right to speak on this in the first place, and I sincerely apologize for my poor choice in doing so.
