Spain was the world's 3rd country to legalize gay marriage. It's an extremely LGTBQ+ friendly country. The trans sport issue is super complex, due to the natural physical advantages that physical constitution can make in a sport. Don't go the simplified route. If I were a woman competing in a purely physical sport, like weight lifting, or any other sport that emphasizes power, I'd be all for the ban. Archery, or horseback riding, or any sport that emphasizes skill, no. I believe it has to be approached on a case by case basis. We can't trample biological rights over a trans rights. As I said, a really thorny issue, but Spain is not by far, very far, suspect of trans bashing. Nature can be a bitch.
