This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Welcome again to everybody. Make yourself at home. In the time-honoured tradition of our group, here is the weekly discussion thread.

On Sunday last week, Damascus fell to Salafi terrorists and other imperialist-aligned forces. Regardless of the flaws of the ousted government, this is a horrible situation for the Syrian proletariat as well as for the people of Palestine, Lebanon and others. We can only hope for the perseverance of the Syrian workers and the remaining anti-colonial resistance.

"Authoritarianism", god I hate that word. Gotta be one of the top most reductionist, misused words there is. I'm not gonna say everybody who uses it as a negative also supports some kind of imperialist/fascist/colonizer project, but it sure is common. And among those who view it as a purity thing, that opposing it is some kind of freedom from the confines of overreach in authority, they miss that there's no human society without forms of authority and that the countries they usually think "were supposed to be liberating communist projects and aren't" actually are democratic. One of those symptoms of when somebody realizes the imperialist country they live in is shit, but they still believe its propaganda about other countries.

"Anarchists" who never read a book on anarchism. "They don't want to control power, they want to critique power"
