God fucking damnit not again.

For those not in the know these Ospreys are absolutely infamous for crashing. So much so that you’d think they’re trying to compete with the A-10 for the airframe with the most BLUEFORCE casualties.

The article didn't say why it crashed, and the inherent design flaw that made it so unreliable initially was patched out years ago.

For all we know this could be pilot error not following NATOPS properly or something completely unrelated to the airframe.

They should've just added another two sets of engines / propellers, turned it into a giant quadcopter, and called it a day.
