The mission design doesn't support bringing anything back, so no. As crappy as Russia may be, stranding a cosmonaut on the moon doesn't sell well with anyone.
But Kerbels are just fine, which is good cause I didn't design a way to get them back
it's a better story than the falling out of the window stuff. By accident of course, everything is great in soviet russia
