Not really, it was clear from the start that games would play pretty much the same on the PS5 and the Series X, and Xbox Controller's only advantage over the Dual Sense is battery life. The gamble that could have put Microsoft ahead was the Series S, and it didn't.
IMO the existence of the Series S and MS requirement of equal support has effectively neutered an entire generation of games.
You mean the same games that, in general, already support a wide range of PCs? It's not like PS5 exclusives are pushing ahead of games that are also on the Xbox.
