Back on Reddit I had an esoteric fascist argue to me that capitalism was something invented by Marxists and doesn't really exist, so I guess it could be worse.

If it wasn't invented by, the term capitalism certainly was popularized by Marxists.

The irony is that they’re right but for the wrong reasons. Capitalism would collapse if debt as an economic tool ceased to exist. But paying off your credit card in full every month isn’t going to do that.
