This is happening in the US RIGHT NOW. "Anti-Wokeness" is codeword for "Anti-Blasphemy".
White people have practically been declared sacred cows above criticism in Texas. Yes, Texas has a socially acceptable hate speech law. History is already being rewritten by democratizing it. If you taught a page of Howard Zinn, or told the other side of the story for even 10 minutes in an American k-12 class: May God have mercy on your soul.
Also, here's an article about it. The next time someone brings up that hate speech laws are bad, remind them that the GOP supports hate speech laws that protect white people.
