A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.

Remember the overriding ethos on Beehaw: Be(e) Nice. Each user you encounter here is a person, and should be treated with kindness (even if they’re wrong, or use a Linux distro you don’t like). Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Beatles

The Beatles link doesn't work for me. It looks broken. No http:// in it. Why email?

You can post it.

That's how Lemmy community addresses are formatted, it isn't email. The part after the @ symbol is the specific Lemmy instance that hosts the community.

Try copying and pasting the whole address (including the "!" at the start) into the search bar on the Lemmy instance that you use and you should be able to find that Beetles community after a few seconds!

If you click on the 3 dots to the bottom right of the comment then select "view source" you should be able to select the text.

I'm not that phased about it getting crossposted personally, just wanted to give you a hand in figuring out how Lemmy (and Jerboa) work!
