They turned boomer and make jokes about wokeness now, so who cares.
Edit: Like, this is BabylonBee levels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6YF-nxc7XI
We care because making boomer jokes, even if tasteless, is SUBSTANTIALLY less important than the general health of labour unions, worker's rights, and job security.
Yeah, guess they should have done a few more pro-union and workers rights jokes instead.
You mean like this one?

And this one?
https://www.theonion.com/starbucks-dangles-tied-up-union-organizers-over-vat-of-1848117803
And this one?

Seriously, did you even look? Because it took me less than a minute to find those.
You know that they satire reality? So them making these jokes is still inline with them just doing satire on reality. Both sides of the news spectrum went ham on their side of the woke argument, the onions just doing their side of the issue.
We gotta stop fussing over silly buzzwords like woke, I'm yet to have someone explain to me what woke really means.
That's because woke really just means "when I don't like societal pressure to be a better person because it validates other people I hate for no reason"
Whose views do you think they're ridiculing? Think of that clip from the point of view of an Onion writer: you're aiming for the sweet spot where a reasonable person will see through it immediately but the brainworm-infested won't. They'd rather believe that them dumb college educated librulls would really do something like this sincerely.
Seems too stupid to get picked up by a major network but it's not without precedent. They've earned their share of embarrassed retractions from media outlets who went to print (or broadcast, posted articles online, etc.) with Onion as their key ingredient. Videos like this might just be there to probe the boundaries of what they'll fall for.
