I mean in an inverse or parallel way. Just replace the names.
There's a long history of the Kremlin using kompromat.

About the same leak and also worth reading
I’m not saying this never occurs. I studied russia/easten Europe for years and am very familiar with the kremlin’s history. Of course it happens. It’s one of their bread and butter tactics.
I’m saying that the string of events this person is theorizing is cut whole cloth from speculation. I think we can both acknowledge that.
Just because something “makes sense” doesn’t mean it’s true.
