So, our government's "crack down on beneficiaries" also includes disabled children.

Apparently disabled people are, what? Leaches sucking the life out of the economy or something?

How long until disabled people have to "work" for their support? Or perhaps we should just put them on a train and take them to a "work camp"?

I don't know why right wing governments spent so much time and energy focusing on cutting down spending that is so small its irrelevant to the budget. Focus on the big things first instead of going straight to nit-picking beneficiaries money.

TL;DR: people who get things "for free" are anathema to the right wing. Everything must be earned.

More specifically, the core ideology is that the world is meritocratic. Everyone gets what they deserve through good choices. If you're "unsuccessful" then you made poor choices and therefore don't deserve to be helped by people who made good choices.

The budget doesn't matter, it only matters that you show a strong stance regarding hand-outs, so your voters feel you're not wasting tax money.

They are not cutting spending overall. They are just moving the spending around from the poor and the middle class to the rich.
