This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rebuilding an area you conquered and annexed so that you can use them as auxiliaries and proxies is an age old tactic of empires. The USA wasn’t rebuilding Germany or Japan out of charity, they were being built into war machines to fight the communists

Yeah, Japan was a client state of the USA until the Plaza accords where the west tanked the yen on purpose. Same thing with South Korea.
