You can only make communities on instances you made your profile on (i think) but commenting or posting is something you can do, are you interested in making a community? because if so on my instance, anyone can do that you will not be prohibited

Really? That's so cool !
Itโs up to you, but you would have to go to this website, create a profile, and then from there you could create your own community https://exploding-heads.com/comment/30820 what did you have in mind anyway?
In addition, you can moderate communities from other instances.
Then how do you create one so that itโs not in your instance.
I am not sure you can, if you can I would love to find out. However, may I ask what community you are wanting to create?
Kinda personal for me so spoiler ahead

___i was raised in a cult, more specifically the iglesia ni cristo. Iโm still in it, albeit forced by my parents and relatives. Donโt want to talk about the experiences there, but I wanted to make a community for those who were or are still in cults over at the fediverse, and for those to talk about coping and other related things.
You coordinate with someone who has an account on that instance to create the community for you and make you a mod, or you create another account on that instance to do it yourself and make your main account a mod.
There's no technical feature that enables remote community creation, you just have to do it through an account on the instance you want the community on.
What kind of instance you like? We have a new instance at lemmy.pro can make one there as long as it's not too crazy
