I’m relatively new to the community and am enjoying it overall, and while I usually visit from my phone I do occasionally log in from my desktop and the white background is kind of intense on my monitor.

It always makes me wonder if there are plans for a Dark Mode on the Beehaw desktop version. I don’t know a ton about web design, so I’m not sure if that represents a lot of work for the few of you there are who support the instance but it would be a nice quality of life feature for those of us who stare into lightbulbs for a living.

It's dark on my desktop, wonder if it follows system or browser theme

There's a "Theme" selection in settings to change it to dark mode or follow your browsers default.
