In the northeastern US. Obvious initial instinct was the CPUSA but they seem kinda problematic after investigating a bit more. Any recommendations?

I've reached the point that i find choosing an org based on idealogical purity is silliness instilled in Westerners by our predominantly Christian or otherwise Abrahamic upbringing. What org is best situated to affect material change? Which has the farthest reach, the most members, the most funding? These are the interesting questions to me.
