Any plans of starting a group of like minded individuals that culminates in a plan to reset everyone's credit to zero?

lt-kitsuragi Okay, detective, I've indulged this contest of strength. But we really need to get back to the case.

Was this is a code-duello, honor of the regiment thing or just friendly sparring?

I've long heard that bare knuckle boxing is much safer, since if you punch someone in the head too hard you'll break your hands and that's strong incentive not to hit people in the head until they get a CTE/TBI.

This particular fight was for sport- our beef is mostly joking.

I had never done this before, but we chose this mode to reduce concussion risk as you said. I would say that it worked, as compared to any form of gloved sparring or fighting we both took far less impacts to the head.

The two issues are finger injuries from punching and lacerations, especially on the face. Hang wraps and careful observance of good form reduce the risks of the first one, the second just requires even more care than usual with regards to hygiene and making sure nothing gets infected.

Sounds like fun, honestly. I love fighting under controlled, friendly circumstances and don't really get to do it anymore. Sounds like a good way to rack up some cool scars. : )
