I don't know much country.
I'm just gonna take a second here to removed about this song. It's great, I love it, but if you've only ever heard the radio version you're missing the point. In the final verse of the song she gets a gun and kills that cheating bastard. The lyrics "thunder rolls" is the gunshot, "lightning strikes" he's hit, "another love grows cold" he's fucking dead. "This'll be the last time she wonders where he's been, and the thunder rolls...." Additional gripe, a metal band (I think Six Feet Under?) does a killer cover of this song....but doesn't include the final verse! They covered the fucking radio edit!
