I shared this picture as part oh my May Day post in my company slack. It’s such a great image demonstrating the international nature of the holiday, and I love pointing out how despite being chosen to commemorate the Haymarket Affair in Chicago, we don’t celebrate International Workers Day here in the US. My works parent company has been refusing to negotiate with their new union in good faith for over a year, so I especially like any chance to do some labor agitation that won’t risk me getting fired. Solidarity everyone!
