OK the main game is definitely boring but it's actually a good game to listen to a podcast in the background. Just vibing and hunting

HOWEVER

The online PVP fighting is the worst, absolute worst game experience in history.

• It has a form of auto aim that makes headshots incredibly easy
• It has 1-shot headshots
• The ONLY penalty for dying is respawning 100 meters away.

It's SO BORING. SO BORING. I call it "Headshot Sysyphus" It's absolutely fucking pointless. I got into multiple extended fights roughly 5v5 and it's literally a contest to see who can get bored first.

I recently played some Star Fox 2 for the SNES which only got released a few years ago. It's very interesting, similar to 64, and a lot of cool stuff in that game got cut when they went to the N64. They had 4 arwing variants to choose from and you could pick your wingman who each had one of the 4 variants

I'm jell. I started playing that again recently as well, I am on my second try and I'm doing a lot better but it's getting precarious. I really wanted to capture one end so I could defend at 2 places instead of 5, but the diplomatic situation just didn't allow for that and now I'm paying the price

Thronefall. They have been updating it a lot and it's so so good. Can be very hard if you want it to be. It's a sort of tower defense/RTS hybrid with a player character who can run around on a horse and help fight. Game is like 10 bucks or something I think. It's cheap

Fallout 76 should have resulted in prosecutions but it's actually really good now, only took 6 years. Still not good solo
