Back when I played (like 20 years ago) a 1/1 for 1 white mana with lifelink was good. Power creep indeed
Now we just need a march of the machine style mashup of this cat being ridden like a horse by Ragavan.
Power creep and all but I genuinely doubt this will see any play in the formats it's legal in. It's miles behind Ragavan on its own and the archetype this fits in is go wide aggro, which loses to the exact board wipes that deal perfectly with this army in a can type card. Playing three of these by turn two and pumping out three extra bodies EOT can win a game of modern but that is not always going to happen.
This is the most busted 1 drop I have ever seen. Absolutely mental imo.
Sure it has more requirements, but the effect is way stronger than an anointed procession. First of, you can have 4 of both. But also the trigger makes it go wider. 2 AP makes 4 tokens, while this plus an AP creates 2 tokens and then at end of turn 4 more (because 2 tokens entered the battlefield). And it is not only creature tokens, so it even triggers on [Yenna, Redtooth Regent] creating enchantment copies. So definitely running this in my token creation commander.
