There will be a conductor on every buss but only so they can wish you a nice day and lend a hand.
Sometimes, as a gag, they asks to see your ticket and then immediately remind you that the fair is free and we're no longer barbarians.
Not the end goal because there is still on-street car parking and a fence around that property.

The 2011 film Drive stars Ryan Gosling as a seldom-spoken character whose main refrain is "I drive" (you can hear this multiple times in the trailer). He wears this white jacket with a scorpion on the back. It has turned into a bit of a meme, but anyway the humor here is derived from someone wearing a jacket associated with a character whose defining trait is "I drive" taking the bus.
First thing we do is set the nerds to work repurposing all fare collection tech to something useful.
While that's a WIP all drivers get to put some little joke poster up in front of them so everyone knows there is no need to bother.

Wearing any movie / game stuff is the most cringe thing anyone could do especially wearing the drive jacket from Amazon
