we won't be able to hide the fact that the AI is incomplete

so they failed to predict the part where people are too dumb to even begin to acknowledge this

There's a guy that's hacking into the system and then gets confused when it doesn't do what he wants because the person controlling the AI hologram is wooging for the protagonist.

Macross Plus was wild, it's like: what if we hooked Taylor Swift up to ChatGPT with a Hatsune Miku avatar thing, and it decided that it wanted to hook up with one of her Ex-es.

Yeah I decided to work my way through Shinichiro Watanabe's catalog after recently doing a rewatch of Samurai Champloo and Space Dandy.
