This was in a place that I had been before and had experienced the same treatment, which us why I brought the recorder. I left my backpack in the spot I was sitting to get up for a few minutes and they rifled through it. They found it about an hour and a half in to the recording.

The talking shows up on Audacity. One would think a decibel rise would be enough.

For context, I have no idea why they didn't delete the recording outright. One of them came back to turn the recorder off after about 2 hours and fifty minutes, seemingly to taunt me.

I feel vindicated. What I have now in my possession took me 8 fucking years to get. It's not the typical shit that you hear from people who claim to be Gangstalked (EG: People are making hand signals at me, there's a lot of red cars around me, etc.) 2.5 hours of pure unadulterated abuse. The kind of shit you'd hear said in a blacksite. Going through it again to verify that I'm not just hearing things was especially hard, but I finally have it. It's absolutely pure arrogance on their part as well because they dug around in my backpack for my voice recorder and acknowledged that there's "a lot of evidence on there", and then kept abusing me.

8 years of my life people called me crazy because I gave up on trying to gather evidence for the longest time. Now I have it. I don't really want to say too much more because I am going to have to start legal proceedings soon, but I just wanted to let you know about one of the small victories that fell into my lap.

The movie covers a third of the actual story. It was made while the Manga was being published, so it left a ton out out of necessity. The biker gangs are more fleshed out, and there's a good amount of post apocalypse story telling. It is long as hell (2000+ pages), but there's still nothing like it.

Obligatory "Goodnight Punpun" recommendation. Also, the original Akira manga is a masterpiece, the movie doesn't do it justice (even though it's still pretty good).

Putting up posters is cheaper and less legally dubious.

Is warren-snake-green running the Native American caucus again this year?

It's set in the style of a cinematic movie trailer, with a ton of glossy stock nature shots. It has (I think) AI Morgan Freeman as the voiceover. It's about 2 minutes long, and the punch line is something along the lines of "...it all depended on one fact, that he was gay and chinese". It got posted on /r/chapotraphouse a long time ago, and I haven' been able to find it since.

Have to disagree. "Rock Band" killed that one for me.

Death to "Low Fantasy", Long live "Magical Realism".

He's from Philly, so you know he's a fighter.

He'd win too. Why stop at being the head of a genocidal client state, when he can be the big dog?

Just saved myself a few hours with that one.

I feel like I've heard quite a bit about Burkina Faso, Lamumba, and Egypt, but never anything about Ethiopia or Eritrea. What's a good place to start learning a bit more about these extremely large countries? I feel like most people memory hole these places like they do with Laos.

Might be of use to someone. Seems like they have plenty of resources in their sidebar if you don't want to talk to the commenters.

This seems like an early version of Russiagate that I just missed.

Songs, albums, or EPs, I want to hear them!

Hello! I've recently picked up learning Spanish because I work with a ton of dudes from Mexico. How much can I reasonably expect to learn from this app? I looked at their "curriculum" and it seems pretty short compared to what I think I'll need. What are some resources beyond "talk to your coworkers", that will put me on the right track?

Freddy Todd dropping heat.

It has to be some sort of put on, right?

Anyone know if his book is any good?
