Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!

About this community and how I post the comics… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net) and a an extra or two randoms.

Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Matt Melvin left C&H in 2014, and several other people have contributed to the comic and to the animated shorts… Read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanide_%26_Happiness

Hope you enjoy and feel free to contribute to the community with art, media, cool stuff about the authors, tattoos, toys and anything else, as long it’s Cyanide and Happiness related!

Actually, this isn't totally wrong, even if the comic is obviously a comic.

Fat people (at least, the ones who aren't bedridden) DO tend to be pretty significantly stronger than skinny people that aren't doing enough exercise, and it's literally for this reason. Carrying all that fat around genuinely does provide some training.

Don't get me wrong though, someone who's doing proper exercise will obliterate both of them, but it's still an interesting fact.

It's also why building a routine and developing your endurance and lung capacity is so much more important than just "lifting bigger weights" if you're trying to be healthier. Your body is already doing hard work, you can get better results with helping it work more efficiently instead of just pushing it to exhaustion.

Arguably, older individuals, and women in particular, would greatly benefit from lifting heavy. It helps fight off osteoporosis and keeps you muscle strong enough for everyday movement. Cardio on the other hand does not.

Ahh, the Trunks vs Goku methodologies.

Yeah, ever see the calves of people who are super overweight and then get fit? They’re like thicker than my thighs.

They're just getting all the leg days in life out of the way first

Also, a bunch of the living days too

Jesus Christ, that’s actually genius!

Or would be if not for all of the potentially permanent side effects..

Also their unclogged arteries days.

Can confirm, I lost 30kg over 2 years. My upper body strength is coming along a lot slower than my legs and core because my legs and core have fat guy conditioning. It's like I spent the previous decade living my life in a weighted vest.

Fat people generally have a decent amount of muscle underneath all those fatty fat rolls.

More like weight-lugging.
