Except the government and businesses there are hell-bent on doing everything possible except doing anything that might in the slightest get in the way of profits. It's like the Ferengi are in charge of Health and Social Care.

I stopped buying Samsung mobiles due to their intrusive policies pushing bloatware and forcing updates. But I wish all the best to these workers.
I really like Samsung's phones and software, but I think my next phone will be a Sony.

The 4K screen is specific to the Xperia 1 V. Though it seems the 1 VI has dropped it for 1080.
The Xperia 10 VI is a more budget version, still with a headphone jack.
I wouldn't know about the ability to decline updates.
(The 1 is their premium model, the 10 budget. The Roman numerals are the generation.)

Remember when workers at Samsung Electronics died from cancer they got from the chemicals they work with and Samsung tried to cover it up and threatened the families of the victims. Samsung has always been shit to their workers.
