Wow. I didn't realise you were hand cutting these on lino... with such crisp edges as well - that's seriously impressive :)

I would like a mural on the side of my office in this style, except with geophysical references. ;)

haha :) The geophysics diagrams that I have seen are graphically more complex than those of physics and less adaptable in this style. afterwards if you have links, I am always interested in nice scientific diagrams

I love it, when the plate is worn out someday, it will look like an alien artifact. Hide it in the Mars colony and watch people flip their lids.

Alright, Ive got to ask. How do you get started doing this? I pretty much swore off doing more art, but this stuff gets the mind going.

Edit. Just looked at your site. Excellent work. Especially for having done such quality pieces in a short time. Kudos

thank you! i started a little by chance, i had done one or two times in art school but nothing very conclusive and in 2020 i saw on instagram artists that made me want to do it again. i put my last savings in good material (pfeil tools) and i started. the trigger was to find a style around the design of plates pionneer and golden record. I liked it well enough visually and it worked well enough on the networks, so I kept going :) I work quite slowly, producing only one or two a year. in the meantime, I make reeditions in colored ink. but all in all, I don't know why you stopped making art, but if you like it, I encourage you to get back into it ;)

I love the science angle. I did an ink piece with a friend a few years ago that had the four forces (weak, strong, gravity, etc) and your stuff reminds me a lot of that.

I stopped because I had a stroke, and it changed how I see my art. But wood working has always been interesting to me. I mostly play music now. Your work is inspiring, hopefully I'll give it a try.

ah sorry to hear that, but music is just as fulfilling! the important thing is not to cut yourself off from artistic practice once you've practiced one.
