A supportive, loving community run by and for LGBTQ+ people and their allies.

Feel free to discuss anything related to LGBTQ+ issues, and remember that despite everything, we all very literally are in this together.

Rules:

  1. Kindness Always

No name-calling, trolling, ad-homs, personal attacks, strawmanning, or disrespectful or abusive behavior toward any other member.

  1. No Bigotry

This should go without saying, but any homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, racism/sexism/any kind of -ism is not allowed. "It's just a joke" is not an excuse. Any sort of needling to try to convince the mods or anyone else to accept such behavior is not acceptable either.

  1. No Spam, NSFW, Or Other Disruptive Content or Behavior

Please respect our community and don't use it to post spam, porn, gore, or any other disruptive content.

  1. Please Tag All Discussions About The Sub with [Meta]

Any meta threads or discussions, suggestions, etc. needs to be tagged with [Meta] in the title, that way it'll be easier for mods to find. If you have any issues with another member or what-have-you, please message a mod.

  1. Hateful People or Members of Hate Groups Not Allowed

No Nazis, fascists, anti-LGBTQ+ folks, or any member of any groups predisposed to discriminate against or cause trouble for LGBTQ+ people or the community. This includes members of the U.S. right wing. We care about the safety and well-being of our community and that means we won't allow anyone who will threaten or endanger LGBTQ+ people in the sub, and sadly, the U.S. political situation has become volatile enough where a ban of this caliber has become necessary.

  1. Please Tag Titles Of Sensitive Posts With [TW] or [CW]

Please put one of those tags on any post talking about rape, suicide, or self-harm.

  1. English Only Please

Posts and comments must be in English only so they can be properly moderated.

Note: failure to abide by the rules may result in a ban depending on severity.

Rules subject to change based on community need.

Remember one part of LGTBQ is embracing love and acceptance of others. Many of you can’t do that with my last post. Though here’s a poem I wrote.

In the hush of twilight softly whispered,

A transformation slowly takes its course,

From hidden truths that long have been obscured,

Emerging now with bold and fearless force.

Some are born queer, some transgender they find,

Others kemonomimi, in between worlds reside,

Afraid once to reveal what lay inside,

Now embracing all they are, their fears aside.

Becoming more than what the eye can see,

Wolf ears that prick atop a fearless head,

A tail that wags with joyful symmetry,

Teeth sharper, mouth open to be fed.

Through suffering and pain, we come into our own,

Embracing our true selves, seeds of beauty sown.

A journey of discovery, a dream unfurled,

Love shining bright across this changing world.

To adulthood we stride with courage firm and clear,

Embracing animals within us, wild and near.

Being ourselves unashamed, full of grace,

Like birds taking flight in an endless space.

Our body image altered by the hands of time,

Cat-like grace and dog-like loyalty entwined.

Childhood memories blend with present's glow,

Shaping who we are as the past we sow.

In the dance of change, we find our true form,

A mix of human and beast amidst life’s storm.

Overcoming adversity with a roar and a purr,

Philosophical ponderings in our heart stir.

The essence of transformation lingers strong,

Magical realism weaving through each song.

Bravery in every step we dare to take,

Compassion guiding us, no love forsake.

Confusion fades as contentment takes its place,

Enjoying the freedom of newfound space.

Excitement bubbles up, happiness brims high,

Hope shining bright across an endless sky.

Pride in who we’ve become, relief in the release

From masks that hid our truest self's increase.

Satisfaction found in being wholly true

As stress melts away beneath skies so blue.

Side note: Remember we are all human on this floating rock. We all have struggles and bad day. Why does it matter what someone is. As many of you guys have problems with kemonomimi, Therian and Furries. So if we don’t start fostering understanding and love who will. Our community is meant to show that and are we?
