I'm pretty sure Israel has compulsory service for nearly all citizens, so serving in the IDF isn't exactly a choice they would have necessarily made willingly. For them I don't think it matters. I think the whole goal is to have further awareness and having people burning time on it like we're doing right now brings more awareness to the issue regardless what side you're on. They believe their side is just so that it will win out in general and bringing further awareness and making people think about it can only be a good thing.

Probably not, however depending on how they phrase it I doubt there would be extreme consequences and even then, there have been countless examples of athletes refusing to return to their home countries and instead staying in the host countries.
I haven't looked at the dox, but if they have apartments/properties outside of Israel, it'll lead to some good ol' vandalism. With addresses inside Israel it's most likely gonna be harassment in the form of letters and packages. Same goes for phone numbers and email addresses.
Essentially, make their lives as uncomfortable as possible. And because they know they've been doxed, it's unlikely to lead to physical violence, because I doubt they're stupid enough to stay at (now publicly known) addresses outside of Israel.
