Their plan has always been to get the cuts, brag about how much money they've saved, and then blame the democrats for the fallout.
same as trumps tax cuts for the rich in 2017.
It should be noted that the cuts are in excess of the agreed upon terms set by the debt ceiling negotiation. If the democratic party decides to hold them to their word this could cause a shut down come fall. Just like the last time there was a republican house and democratic president.
Remember when all those Republican jackasses booed and jeered Biden when he said the Republican jackasses want to cut SS and Medicare during his State of the Union address? Hell, they've been going after SS and Medicare for decades. Bunch of regressive idiots.
