As usual with this source i will give a content warning that this is a right wing source and if you step outside of their solid geopolitical analysis you may see them say some very cringe reactionary things.

The piece itself is ok, as usual a decent summary of recent events. I could see nothing particularly objectionable, except perhaps for a couple of somewhat unserious terms that a Marxist wouldn't use, such as "totalitarian".

Also, i don't vouch in any way for the comment section, i generally don't read those but it's probably a mix of ok and very very awful, so enter at your own peril. I hope this is enough to address the recent criticism that was expressed here about sharing content from problematic sources.

Unrealated to the content but thank you for the disclaimer. I was also following the discussion and while I feel confident that I can identify right wingers with correct takes on geopolitics this just makes my life easier as I don't have to look into them myself, which I don't always have the time for. For exmple when I'm commuting and just have 5-10 min looking at lemmygrad. I remember reading some other stuff from this author while commuting and their profile picture struck me as weird. However, I didn't realize till now that they are right wing. If not for the disclaimer it's possible I could've shared articles from this author with friends without knowing they're right wing which could have ended being a bit... uncomfortable.

In principle i think it can be ok to share articles like this, but you have to have the right target audience. Obviously this is not appropriate for everyone, and in particular you should vet pieces carefully before sharing them with people who are less politically mature and not as experienced at parsing out what is factual and good analysis vs what is right wing nonsense. Here on lemmygrad i trust people to know how to do that, and i think communists need to draw from a wide range of sources to be as informed as possible. That wouldn't be the case with more politically casual friends and acquaintances who i wouldn't necessarily trust to not fall for right wing talking points.
