Generally I've found that Hexbears and lemmygrads think anyone who disagrees with or says anything bad about them or communism is a chud or is spreading misinformation.

Like, this is really core at what makes tankies so insufferable, other than the bad faith, the masturbation over cruelty, and the IQ of a rock. Rather than being willing to sit down and say, "Huh, okay, so these people have legitimate grievances against the system, but that doesn't make the system inherently bad", they jump immediately to "These people are IGNORANT REACTIONARIES and they DESERVE THE WALL"

I remember reading this and hoped it got posted here, I was pissing myself laughing at it like, the arseholes in those communities are absolute fucking morons.
The point is right in front of their face and they still can't see it (so the my can't screenshot this comment for a post, the point is that those regimes were authoritarian nightmares to live in as an ordinary person). I've said it before and I'll say it again, they're not tankies they're idiots who for some reason love any auth regime and then pretend that life there is so good.
And everytime I post some shit like this I have to say at the end, I do not like capitalism or the US (also I'm Irish and I live in Austria currently) I would much rather see a socialist state or proper commune style communism, what they admire is basically horrible shit which should be callef Maoism/Stalism/etc.
This is what really gets me about their brigading nonsense. The fediverse is very heavily leftist already. In large part they're attacking other leftists while claiming to be a "left unity" instance. -_-
It's the same left unity that the Hungarians and Soviets had when the Soviets put down pro-union and pro-democracy protesters with tanks.

A problem with modern society is focusing power and holding up people in power as better or perfect. There's some of them mixed that are level headed communist believers. The most vocal, if not the majority seem to be totalitarian sympathizers. It's so weird to me that all these "communists" don't seem to realize the economic system a dictatorship claims to be doesn't really matter.

Like, I sympathize on that point, honestly. Firsthand experience is often dogshit, hence the ridiculousness of 'common sense' solutions. But when the vast majority of people who've experienced it are telling the same tale, you have to step back and ask yourself why.

They deny every terrible thing China and other communist countries do, Invading Tibet, trying to Invade Vietnam, Invading Mongolia, taking over Hong Kong and obliterating free press there almost over night, threatening to wipe out Taiwan every day of the week to the point where they literally shoots rockets at Taiwan to scare them, and of course the current Uyghur genocide.
I honestly can't tell half the time if they're even being serious when they deny basic facts everyone knows or if they really believe CCP propaganda

I knew a Cuban immigrant, who was still a communist, but usually towards marginalized groups, people have higher standards, and many tries to live up to it.
I also know a lot of disabled chuds hoping that they either get "cured", get some help, or go to heaven because they're reactionary christians. Religious institutes like to prey on the marginalized.
