The way I see it, the more Harris signs on people's lawns, the less people can pretend that trump voters are the majority. If you see house after house with Harris signs and that county votes blue, then someone might be less willing to believe bullshit about the election being stolen from him.

How have you not learned yet that logic doesn't apply to their arguments, and no amount of evidence is adequate to change their minds? Yet zero evidence is adequate to confirm their bias.

Your comment reinforces the point I am making - people are easily swayed by the inconsequential

You: Do communal engagements in a society matter? No, they are inconsequential. I am very smart.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 weeks ago

Are you seriously suggesting putting up a lawn sign is communal engagement? Is a t-shirt with a slogan social discourse?

They work, but they don't get people to switch sides. They get people off their sofas and voting.

If you think everyone in your area support the other side you may think it's pointless voting and stay home. If you know others in your area share and you're not alone, you're more likely to feel your vote will have power.

Unless you personally know the politician, like a family member or friend, I see absolutely no reason to advertise for any of them. I think it just shows how stupid you are, no matter who you're promoting.

I think they're like the same people that have the Calvin pissing on Ford, Chevy, whatever, on their cars. They really need you to know their opinion lol

(Outside of my constant commenting) I'm kind the exact opposite. I don't even wear clothing with logos or images on them lol I want you to know nothing about me when I'm out in public.

I only comment so much because I'm fairly anonymous here. The moment someone replied to me with my own picture or name, I'd delete my profile, burn my phone, and probably never open the site again lol

Yeah Alex, people having too much info about you can be scary.

What do you mean [redacted]? That's [redacted]! [Redacted] even says so!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

What did he delete? Is Alex really his name? How did you find it?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Can't tell if you're playing along or sincerely asking, so I'm gonna give you two different answers

playing alongYes, he's actually Alex Jones and he confessed to being scared of all women

actually askingFar as I can tell, [deleted] WAS the original message

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Oh, I guess I'm just lost then. A few years ago there was a thread on Reddit where people were able to find all sorts of information about people who commented, and I thought something similar might be happening here. Thanks for the reply.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 weeks ago

No worries lol, have a good one 🙂

I have one because I look conservative.. From the way I dress, to the hobbies I have, the vehicles I drive, to the only American flag on the block... looking like a typical conservative. But on the inside I'm a quite squishy, liberal union steward. I've got a Vets Against Trump sign to let my neighbors know I ain't that guy.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

So you're actually virtue signalling.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I mean, if you virtue signal but also vote...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 weeks ago

I do do that too.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 weeks ago

Yes, I suppose, but I also stand on it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 weeks ago

Don’t know if they work, but a lot of expense has gone into making and distributing them. So in the off chance they do anything, up it goes. Other than voting and contributing to campaigns it’s the only other thing I can do.
