Fox News' latest attempt to churn up negative stories about Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz backfired immediately this week.

Shut the fuck up, Tim Walz would NEVER do anything so scandalous! Granted, he's obviously not as wholesome as someone who poses with a fake family or insulting their wife's culture and bragging on live tv about telling their children to shut up

He did deploy the national guard to suppress protests. So there's that.

Walz was the tinyman tank-man biggs

He did. And he publically acknowledged that it was a bad call and apologized. He also was the reason rotten cop who killed George Floyd was even prosecuted.

If we want to criticize someone, we should also acknowledge when they listen to that criticism and correct the behavior going forward.

It’s a good thing Dijon mustard is too spicy for his midwestern tastes, right? Don’t have to worry about that potential fiasco.

Remember, a tan suit is only presidential and acceptable if you're white

I heard a rumor that Tim walz was once a little too happy about winning a bowling match. The scandals never cease!

I heard Walz high-fived his wife and friends BEFORE he praised his opponent for a well-played game. The man is a public menace.

It’s in the article but here:

The implication of the headline was that Walz didn't really do anything to help the struggling student and only cared about keeping him on the field to win football games.

However, an interview with the former student, a man named Dan Clement, showed that Walz encouraged him to continue playing because he thought it would give him a positive outlet away from alcohol and criminal activities that could help him straighten out his life.

"The caring attention he gave, that positive support can pull you through really dark times in your life," said Clement. "And he was right. I was wrong. And later in life, when I continued to do that, when I continued to trust other people who love me, then it led my life in this beautiful direction. Just like it did back then."

Thank you.

But I meant:
In what way did it backfire? Are the Democrats getting more votes from this? Is Fox “News” getting fewer viewers, fined, or closed down? Did it change the opinions of any viewers?

[–] [email protected] 26 points 2 weeks ago

It backfired in that it called attention to something positive he did that Fox News tried to spin into a negative. How much it will change things probably isn't a lot, but at least we can see two sides, Fox News and reality. Maybe others will see it too with the right story and lie exposed.

It made them look like dumbasses (as usual) which their viewers will likely drown out in the torrent of other anti-democratic tripe Fox shovels down their collective gullets.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

Did Fox even air the part showing what Walz did was fine? Or did that part only come out elsewhere?

Nice, Walzy

spoiler(foreign policy wise tho...)
