It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

These types of e-bikes really remind me of the mopeds of the 70s and 80s. The pedals were all but useless and were only there to meet regulations and may be used in an emergency. If the engine died and you were on perfectly flat ground, that is.

They look kind of fun, but they're as much bicycle as a a Cybertruck is a truck.

Doesn't seems nice to pedal though, with the sitting position that low, combined with the likely heavy bike, you won't pedal far with it. You'd wish there's no speed bump on the route lol

That was my point. They're poor bicycles.

Never ride a Hurricane. Does the saddle is for a look, second person, or comfort?

I learned how to ride on one. I couldn't tell you but it was fun to goof off and stuff with it. Riding doubles was always weird. I found it worked best to have them ride on the handle bars.

It’s available now through Schwinn’s website for $599.99.

250-watt hub motor and a 36V 7.8Ah lithium-ion battery.

Kind of an awesome price, though you probably won't go too far on this because of the small battery.
