Wow that's really interesting, I've never seen a historic settlement like this one
Wikipedia says that the telecoms company Tiscali* got its name from this place.
* now Tessellis, apparently
So cool
Holy shit, that's so cool! Does it have a name? I'd love to go read a bit more about it!
Tiscali
I completely missed the title at the top, thank you!
Like the bold text at the top of the image that says “The Nuraghic Village of Tiscali”? Who evidently seems to have a typo since everywhere else I’m seeing it’s spelled ‘Nuragic’. Thanks for the post op.
I didn't even see that part, I was distracted looking at the pretty pictures and reading the little blurbs 😅
I’m sorry that was extra crappy I’m having just the worst day and you didn’t deserve my dickishness there.
You're all good, I couldn't actually tell the tone for certain so I didn't even experience it as totally harsh
I'm sorry you're having such a shit day friend, I hope life is less of an asshole and starts being a little kinder to you soon
Thanks, I needed that.
🫂
Life is a fucking dick
Literally had to put my cat down today, couldn’t have said it any better. Thanks for the hug.
Yep, that'll certainly make for a fucking horrible day :(
You're very welcome, take care of yourself, and I'm wishing you the best with processing the grief, having to put a pet down is a brutal place to find one's self 🫂
In Italian it's written nuraghi (in the plural) so I'd argue it's all the other places that are wrong.
A one else get an itch to play rimworld after seeing this?
Me and my 25 tribesmen trying to determine the ideal shape to please the big Rock (it's round, Ungh and Ogh don't know what they're doing)
What's the point of building roofs against rain, when there is already a roof overhead?
A covered space is easier to keep warm. Also the crater hole might well have let in rain that could be blown around by wind.
Cute!
