lol ... it would be just funny for the mods to instead delete posts to just move them onto a c/rejectedpoliticalpostsfromshowerthoughts
keep up the work guys, the community looks great and we have you guys to thank for it.
A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

That would be funny actually
I'm down
I'm not sure that it's possible to move posts but that would be funny. Maybe c/powerthoughts
/c/ToiletThoughts since they're getting flushed away.
Interesting idea - move posts to an appropriate community. Or lol maybe just have one called DumpingGround so mods don't have to decide where they go. I like this idea.
Thank you. Brilliant, wonderful.
So tired of politics, there are communities for that stuff.
I'm considering setting up my own instance with an instance-wide ban on all political contents... It's annoying to deal with those political posts with super vague title so it bypasses the keyword filter.
I appreciate this rule 🙌
Keep the rule permanant
Absolutely!
Thank you for keeping the community booming!
Damnit I missed my 2-minute window of opportunity!? /s :-P
Nice
Thank you
Thank you! There are definitely a lot of politics communities on Lemmy, so I'm a huge fan of not having them leak into casual communities like this.
Thank you. This stuff really didn't fit this community.
Community for political discussion: [email protected] , mods please feel free to post this anywhere if you'd like to avoid the political posts :)
So, is this actually going to be enforced? I'm seeing non stop political posts, and it's making me hate this community
Apologies for the slow enforcement. The reported posts deemed in violation of community rules have now been addressed.
