According to the publication, the Israeli prime minister called for two planes to be sent to Amsterdam to rescue Israelis there. The statement quotes Netanyahu as calling on Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and local security forces to "act decisively and quickly against the rioters and ensure the well-being of our citizens." Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon calls the incident a "pogrom."

Dutch person here. Don't forget to include the part where israeli football hooligans shouted pro-genocide lines, attacked taxi drivers, and tore Palestinian flags off of people's homes. These Israelis came here and should have known that Israeli's were not welcome to promote their genocide. In fact, I think a majority did know and them coming here was a provocation. This has nothing to do with antisemitism or them being Jewish, but everything to do with actions of the Israeli government and this football club's racist provocations earlier this week

What Israel is doing is terrible. Tearing down flags is stupid and hateful. Cheering for such a war is terrible.

Edit if people are being hateful / breaking laws they should be arrested and charged, to the full extent of the law. They shouldn't be hit with cars.

Every settler is guilty. If you moved to Israel you are guilty. Living in Israel means living on land soaked in palestinian blood. It means choosing to become part of a system that kills kids daily. Being in Israel right now, being an Israeli citizen right now means knowingly continuing to do exactly that. You cannot compare citizens of the Israeli oppressor who live in palestinian homes to the many non-combatant palestinians who no longer even have a home.

If I were a jew I would not want to live their. I don't want to live in an apartheid state and would not want to live under the extreme right wing government. Nor would I want to live in a place that is so prone to beeing the target of a terrorist attack. So moving there would be our of the question.

As for your other questions: There are Israelis who belive on a 2 state solution and are against the government. There are Israelis who have family who love there they do not want to leave back. People have been living in Israel for 75 years. That's two generations growing up there. It's not that easy to just go away. Nobody thinks that US citizens should leave their county, and they got it by committing a genozode and settling land that didn't belong to them. Just 100 years earlier as Israel. So if you realy hold the stance that people should leave Israel you better apply that same logic to the US.

I do apply that same logic to the US, all of the Americas really. I just don't see it being as feasible as decolonizing Israel would be. Regardless yes, those people do exist in Israel. There are many people in Israel who were born there with no where to flee too. Should this group be doing everything they can to leave or prevent the genocide then I do not have any qualms with them. There are even some people who moved there without knowledge of its history and its always prevelant oppression but these people should have left once they saw it. And they did see it, you can't not see it.

These Israelis in the video were in europe, they could flee if they wanted to. They could abandon their genocidal country but they clearly haven't. They celebrate it even. They do not belong to the previously mentioned groups.

I'm sure there are plenty of Israelis who oppose the war but so far I've only seen 8-12 anarchists use their bodies as shields. This, so far, has been the only Israeli material resistance to the genocide that I have seen. It is safe by now to say that Israelis are fascist. Have you seen the news on Israel recently? They passed a bill that allows them to deport "family members of terrorists" to Gaza or wherever they see fit. They are going to start moving arabs from the west bank into the concentration camp. Atleast in Germany the good people mostly couldn't leave, some did what they could to help the jewish victims. Palestinians won't have this luxury to the extent that the Jews did.

Would you have been as hesitant to judge a German in 1938 as you would be to judge an Israeli now?
