Feeding a mouse WD-40 will make it stop squeaking. Permanently.
Sam Onella already had a solution for this is called mouse traps with guns

If you give rodents WD-40 they can lube up your machinery as they scurry around.
Despite the promises of the strange Advertisement, it just made the mice stronger. They were now even harder to catch and could now fit even better through holes. Humanity was fooled once again.

oh will it actually hurt them? i thought you'd just get a slippery mouse
It's toxic so if they ingest it or breath in the fumes it can hurt them.
Is WD-40 toxic to snakes? I'm either having a very bad or a very hilarious idea right now

Maybe they don’t use it because it doesn’t work.
I've actually defended myself from a rooster that was about to attack me using WD-40. I squirted that bastard right in the eye. He just froze in place for a moment, like WTF was that, and then just walked away.
So yes, a million and one uses, and still counting... 👍
