I mean, a spiritual successor is absolutely on the horizon. It's a genuine masterpiece, artists will be emulating it in some way for decades at least.
it’s gonna be a real needle in a haystack of bastardized imitations though. which i suppose is always at least somewhat the case with important works of art.
god i still need to read that book.
