Thank God! The game would look so much better with proper implementation

Anyone get no picture after starting up the games on series x? I get the starfield splash screen, but when it switches over to HDR, I get a no signal message on the TV. I have to restart the Xbox and it will work the second or third time of starting the game.
What issues? I did that tweak to enable Win11's AutoHDR for this game, and it looks great. So much better than without.
The issue is that you couldn't tweak the setting in the game itself. There's not even a brightness setting which is the most basic functionality the users could ask for.
Ah I see. As far as HDR brightness goes, I just leave everything on max nits in game and just let my LG OLED's automatic tonemapping worry about the rest. If you have an HDR display I suggest that you enable the equivalent setting until this is fixed (or just do what I do, leave the setting on and never worry about it again in any and all games).
But as far as not having a brightness slider for SDR: yes I agree that's absolute horseshit to not have it.
Theirs HDR?
